Ohio winter slump got you feeling down? Highlighted in this blog are some upcoming local winter events to look forward to that are certain to warm you up and spark some festive joy! Our local communities have so much to offer and we love to show them off when we can! Be sure to let us know if there are any other upcoming events to look forward to! December 3, 2022: Jingle Dog Parade & Holiday Market

12-3 pm

“The Jingle Dog Parade will start at the High Bridge Glens Park and will go north on Front Street to the Downtown Pavilion, where dogs and families can take photos with Santa and shop at the dog-friendly Holiday Market. There will be a Furry + Bright Costume Contest for the most festive pooches there with prizes. Dogs will be judged as they parade up Front Street and winners will be announced at the Holiday Market. No dog? No problem- come as a spectator!”

December 17, 2022: DTCF QUARTERLY 

11 am-8 pm

“QUARTERLY is an initiative to celebrate and showcase our vibrant community of businesses, business owners, and all our downtown has to offer. Think "first Friday" in other communities; ours are quarterly so you can experience each season in our beautiful downtown.”

November 26, 2022-February 20, 2023: Downtown Ice Rink

“The ice rink, located at the plaza by the Downtown Pavilion and Amphitheater at 2085 Front Street. The ice rink is scheduled to open for the season on Saturday, November 26th from 12:00 p. m. - 8:00 p. m. Parking for the rink is available at metered street parking on Front Street or the 3 public parking decks located downtown.”

December 4, 2022: Hudson’s Holiday Walk

12-5 pm

“Join the Merchants of Hudson as we welcome shoppers and diners with activities for the entire family. Enjoy live windows, an appearance by Santa, children's games and activities, a hot cocoa warm-up station, and more! Plus don't miss the live nativity sponsored by the First Congregational Church.”

December 2, 2022: Glow with Santa

5-9 pm

“We're looking forward to another spectacular GLOW WITH STOW Holiday Lighting Event!  Join us on Saturday, December 3 (5-9 pm) for a FUN-FILLED evening! You'll hear joyous singing, watch ice sculpture carvings, enjoy delicious treats from local food trucks, hop on a train ride, enjoy a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, make toys in Santa's Workshop (toys courtesy of The Home Depot and of course see the beautiful display of lights at Stow City Center.”

November 28-December 14: Santa’s Mailbox

“Drop your letters to Santa in the mailbox located outside Stow City Hall (3760 Darrow Rd.)  IMPORTANT: Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for a return letter from the jolly old elf himself!  Adults are encouraged to glance over the letters to make sure each child’s name, age, and a wish list is included.”

December 3. 2022: ‘Tis The Season Winter Market @ Belltower Brewery

12-3 pm

Shop local, handmade, and small businesses this season! The product mix includes pottery, stationary, fine art, leather, wood, sweet treats, body products, candles, clothing, kid items, apparel, jewelry, and accessories.
